SENCare Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a special primary school that is seeking experienced teaching assistants to support children who have autism, mild and profound needs and SEMH.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 5 days a week - ongoing
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 6 months experience supporting students with autism, social emotional mental health difficulties, and some profound needs.
- Experience supporting students aged 4 - 11.
- The ability to provide personal care.
- The ability to follow students' ECHPs.
- Experience with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication.
- A teaching background.
- The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students.
- A clear DBS registered to the update service - child and adult checked.
