Learning Support Assistant – College – Poole, Dorset
Start: ASAP
Duration: 5 days a week – ongoing.
Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm
The ideal teaching assistant:
- At least 6 months experience supporting students with autism, social emotional mental health difficulties, some profound needs.
- Experience supporting students aged 16‑25.
- Able to follow students ECHPs.
- Experienced with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching background.
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students.
- Clear DBS registration to the update service – child and adult checked.
