SEN Teaching Assistant β College β Poole, Dorset.
SENCare Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a college, that is seeking experienced teaching assistants to support young adults who have autism, mild and profound needs and SEMH.
Start: ASAP. Duration: 5 days a week β ongoing. Hours: 8:30am β 4:30pm.
The ideal teaching assistant
- Will have at least 6 months experience supporting students with autism, social emotional mental health difficulties, some profound needs.
- Experience supporting students aged 16-25.
- Able to follow students ECHPs.
- Experienced with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching background.
- The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students.
- Have a clear DBS registered to the update service β child and adult checked.
