SEN Teaching Assistant – College – Poole, Dorset.

SENCare Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a college, that is seeking experienced teaching assistants to support young adults who have autism, mild and profound needs and SEMH.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 5 days a week – ongoing.
Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm
The ideal teaching assistant –
* will have at least 6 months experience supporting students with autism, social emotional mental health difficulties, some profound needs.
* experience supporting students aged16-25
* able to follow students ECHPs
* experienced with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching background
* the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
* have a clear DBS registered to the update service – child and adult checked.
