Overview

SENAD Community provides high quality support for people of all ages who may have a disability, communication or specialist health needs. The outstanding person-centred support we deliver aims to maximise potential, encourages independence and helps to engage our service users in meaningful activities. The service is 24 hours, 7 days a week, therefore you must be flexible in your availability (both waking night & sleeps are available). We are recruiting for permanent roles both full & part time. Full Time 36 hours per week – Part Time 24 Hours per week – 19:30pm – 07:30am.

We are seeking support workers to work with a diverse group of individuals, who may have one or some of the following challenges:

  • Acquired brain injuries
  • Mental health needs
  • Learning and/or physical disabilities
  • Autism
  • Drug/Alcohol misuse
  • Forensic backgrounds
  • Homelessness

Responsibilities

The role involves providing person-centred support to service users, promoting independence, and enabling engagement in meaningful activities. You will work with individuals who may present with complex needs and will need to maintain confidentiality and person-centred care at all times.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible individual with excellent communication skills who share our passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives.

The role does not require any previous experience as full training will be provided; we are looking for someone who shares our vision and ethos and can demonstrate positive values.
