The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Hours: Full time permanent, 37.5 hours per week – 3 week rolling rota, mixture of early and late shifts (7:30am – 3:30pm or 3:00pm – 10:00pm).
We provide individualised education and care programmes for children and young people aged 11 to 19 years, with autism, severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Our fantastic facilities are set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside and is fortunate to have extensive grounds and woodlands, giving students a tranquil, spacious, accessible and safe environment in which to learn and live. The market town of Bromyard and the city of Worcester are close by.
The Role: As a Shift Leader you will support the young people to lead valued and fulfilling lives, maximising their potential physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. You will lead and manage a small team of residential support staff ensuring each shift runs smoothly, and respond appropriately to any Safeguarding issues and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Calm and even tempered
- Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (or enrolled and actively engaging in the Diploma)
- A valid current driving licence
- Minimum of 6 months previous experience of working with children with severe learning difficulties and who can present challenging behaviour
