About us

Fairfield House is linked to the parent site of Winslow Court, near Bromyard and specialises in the care of adults with severe learning difficulties, including associated challenging behaviours.

The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic care staff to support our residents within the home and out in the community.

This can mean supporting at meal times, teaching life skills, planning and carrying out activities as well as supporting with personal care.

This is a rewarding role which offers a chance to enrich the lives of vulnerable adults.

Previous experience in a similar setting is useful but full training is provided.

As long as you have good values and a natural respect for the dignity and individuality of our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents within the home and out in the community.
  • Assist with meal times, teaching life skills, planning and carrying out activities.
  • Provide personal care support as required.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • The ability to work under pressure in challenging circumstances.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Willingness to identify and undertake any training necessary to develop within the role.
  • Basic ICT skills.
