The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
You will support the residents of Cedar Lodge both at home and in the community, offering choice, encouraging independence and supporting in a wide range of activities. Your duties will also include personal care and administering medication. Applicants do not need to have relevant experience as full training will be provided for the right person. It is, however, essential that you are well organised, resilient and willing to learn.

About Cedar LodgeCedar Lodge provides residential support for young adults aged 18 years and over, who have a severe learning disability, autism, communication difficulties, challenging behaviours, mental health and other complex needs. Within the campus we have a range of activities including a leisure barn, sensory room, plenty of space for bikes and go‑carts, walks within the grounds, a woodland area and adult‑size park equipment. We offer a range of homely activities to include puzzles and games of their choice, themed evenings, cinema nights, as well as offering support in life skills such as cooking simple meals.
What we are looking for- A passion for delivering care of the highest standard
- Good sense of humour
- Calm and even tempered
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Full driving licence
- Previous experience within a residential setting
- Experience of severe learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviour
- NVQ 3 in Care or equivalent
- Care certificate
- Basic ICT skills
