Post: 12 hours per week. Fixed term from date of appointment until 31st July 2027. This post is subject to funding; continuation beyond July 2027 will depend on SENAC securing additional funding for the role. Part-time: 3 weekday mornings 10.00am-2.00pm. Salary: £874 gross per month.
SENAC is a regional charity providing independent advice and advocacy on the application of the statutory SEN System for the assessment and provision for children with special needs and disabilities. We offer a range of services to support families with children with additional educational needs including a confidential telephone Adviceline where parents/guardians can speak directly to an Advisor and receive immediate advice and information on their enquiry.
This is a hugely rewarding role, advising families in need. At the heart of each enquiry is a child with additional needs and your advice can make a difference to the child's educational needs and opportunities. You will join a dedicated team committed to ensuring parents have the information, support, and advice they require to be empowered and positive participants in the SEN decision-making processes for the benefit of their children.
Please read the Applicant's Information Pack and essential criteria. Training will be provided for this role. If you meet all the essential criteria, please complete and forward an application form as instructed in the Applicant's Information Pack before 5.00pm on the closing date Friday 31st July 2026.
