The Special Educational Needs Advice Centre (SENAC) is a regional charity providing confidential, independent SEN advice and advocacy for parents and their children on the statutory special educational needs system in Northern Ireland. This post is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

Post: Impact Officer
8hrs per week. Fixed Term Contract for the duration of the SEN Community Support and Information Project from the date of appointment until project funding ends in June 2030.
Salary: £6996 per annum in Year 1

Summary of Role Description: To ensure SENAC's charitable work has a positive impact on the children, young people, and families we support, the Impact Officer will be responsible for collecting, managing, and analysing information, data, and stakeholder feedback. This role is essential for informing project development, enabling ongoing measurement of our impact, and ensuring SENAC meets grant monitoring requirements and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and other relevant legislation.

Personnel Specification includes:

  • Experience of engaging with service users/clients within the community and voluntary sector or a non-profit organisation to evaluate service experience.
  • Experience measuring project impact within the community and voluntary sector or a non-profit organisation.
  • Experience in operational management of databases in an employed capacity.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative data analytical skills.
