As a Graduate High-Speed Validation Engineer, you'll be trained up to test and validate next-generation semiconductor devices that are shaping the future of global connectivity — the chips inside the networks that move the world's data. No two days will look the same: one week you might be in new product design meetings helping shape how a device gets tested, the next you'll be in the lab taking real measurements on components running at 10Gbit/s and beyond. Responsibilities
- Support new product design meetings and help develop test approaches for evaluating new products
- Assist in building validation solutions for new products — covering software, hardware, and documentation
- Help identify the right bench‑top test equipment for validating new products
- Learn to build test automation software using Python or LabVIEW
- Work closely with designers, product, test, and applications engineers as part of a genuinely collaborative team
- Take part in validation review meetings and contribute your findings
- Help create clear, accurate validation reports
- Get hands‑on testing high‑speed optical components, ICs, and modules
- Take high‑speed lab measurements on products operating at data rates of 10Gbit/s and above
- Build your knowledge of high‑speed signal integrity, including exposure to schematic entry/layout using Altium PCB tools
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (EE/ECE) or a closely related discipline
- 0–2 years' relevant experience — this role is designed for recent graduates ready to build their career in high‑speed validation
- A genuine curiosity for electronics, test, and measurement, and a willingness to learn fast
- Able to stay focused and positive in a fast‑paced, dynamic R&D environment
- A natural team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and asking questions
