This role supports the delivery of BIM across Mechanical & Electrical projects within an established BIM environment. BIM is a key part of how projects are delivered, with structured workflows, standards and coordinated digital processes already in place.

You will assist in the day-to-day implementation of BIM on projects, working closely with engineers and senior BIM staff to ensure models are developed, coordinated and issued correctly. The role offers a balance of hands-on modelling, coordination and learning opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support BIM delivery across projects, ensuring models meet company standards.
  • Assist in maintaining BIM standards, protocols and workflows.
  • Work in line with ISO 19650 requirements and project information standards.
  • Support the implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
  • Create, manage and update Revit models in line with project requirements.
  • Assist with model coordination, including clash detection using Navisworks.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with internal and external teams.
  • Help maintain model structure and issue information via the Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Carry out basic model checks and QA reviews.
  • Support engineering teams in using BIM tools and workflows.
  • Assist in developing BIM content, templates and families.
  • Liaise with architects, structural engineers and other project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to improving BIM processes and efficiency.
  • Undertake training and development to build BIM capability.
  • Carry out any other duties required to support project delivery.
Essential CriteriaExperience & Knowledge
  • Experience in a BIM Manager/Coordinator or similar role (or relevant placement/graduate experience).
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
  • Understanding of BIM processes and coordinated model delivery.
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 or similar information management standards.
  • Experience working with a Common Data Environment (CDE) is beneficial.

  • Ability to manage own workload across multiple tasks.
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
