AGSE Product Technician
Responsibilities
- Carry out the inspection, servicing, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE).
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure equipment is returned to service efficiently.
- Perform testing, calibration and certification activities in line with company and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and internal departments.
- Complete maintenance records, technical reports and associated documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company quality, safety and compliance procedures.
- Support equipment commissioning, installation and customer training activities where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Previous engineering experience within aerospace, manufacturing, rail or a similar technical industry.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across mechanical systems.
- Experience using workshop tools, test equipment and calibration equipment.
- Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Previous experience working with Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) would be advantageous.
- Experience of calibration and testing processes is desirable.
- Knowledge of aviation industry standards would be beneficial; full training will be provided.
- Qualification in a Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Engineering discipline is desirable.
