THE ROLE: The Team Lead, Marketing & Programs will manage the planning and execution of marketing activities as well as working with the company's leaders to develop communications (speeches, presentations, and talking points) to external and internal audiences to maximise media exposure of SEMI’s brand. The goal for this role is to tell the SEMI story in a coherent, evolving, and compelling way to inspire SEMI members and stakeholders to become further engaged and invested in SEMI including sales collateral development, press releases, web content creation, email marketing, advertising, direct mail, and other communications. The manager will also assess and analyze the local market to identify new opportunities and improve customer segmentation. This is a full-time contract position and reports directly to the Director, Business & Program Development at SEMI SEA Office.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate the SEMI brand
- Acquire opportunities for public relations and press coverage.
- Develop talking points, slides, briefing materials and other support materials for high-impact communication opportunities, speeches and presentations that relate to specific audience to meet brand and reputation goals.
- Prepare executives for a variety of internal and external speaking engagements.
- Strategist and implement marketing campaigns
- Create compelling marketing collateral, websites, signage, banner, sponsorship kits, etc. taking input from program managers.
- Develop high-quality collateral/brochures, company introduction templates.
- Provide strategic marketing suggestions and tactical execution to promote cross‑selling, customer satisfaction.
- Partner with headquarters to manage the global SEMI brand
- Ensure compliance with SEMI corporate look and feel, brand positioning, web publishing standards and editorial standards.
- Manage brand assets and support other departments and regional offices.
- Promote programs
- Coordinate marketing efforts with speakers, instructors and SEMI departments to provide content for the development of promotional materials.
- Ensure program plans are achieved
- Coordinate project scope and plan logistics such as timelines, speaker and attendee materials, facilities, catering, audio‑visual equipment and any additional requirement for program.

- You understand your audience, know how to attract new audiences, and are successful at increasing member awareness, and engagement.
- You have developed long‑term relationships with professionals in the industry who can benefit from and contribute to future programs and events.

FOUNDATIONAL KNOWLEDGE OR PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE:
- B.S./B.A. or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, public relations or related fields.
- Experience in developing and implementing multi‑level, integrated marketing, communication and PR programs, including digital strategy.
- Experience producing and creating graphics/videos or multimedia.
- Experience with global semiconductor market and technologies is a plus.
