Trafford Council are recruiting experienced Adults Social Workers to join their integrated community service, working across a diverse caseload of adults with varying needs including long-term conditions, dementia, hoarding, and drug and alcohol issues.
This is a busy, challenging role in which you will carry out strengths-based, person-centred social work assessments and interventions, secure appropriate funding in line with the Reshaping Trafford Policy, and contribute to a duty rota responding to urgent situations and crisis support. You will also manage safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act and local policy.
You will build effective professional relationships across health and social care disciplines, share team workload collaboratively, and bring a commitment to outcomes-focused practice and peer learning.
The successful candidate will hold a recognised social work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and have a minimum of three years post-qualifying experience in a statutory adult social care setting. You must be motivated, enthusiastic about strengths-based approaches, and committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
