3-Month Interim Contract | Hybrid Working
Semester Recruitment is working with Bradford Children and Families Trust, who are seeking an experienced Children & Families Social Worker to join their team in Bradford South on a 3-month interim basis.
This is a front-line role focused on safeguarding and supporting children, young people, and families through statutory social work processes.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage a varied caseload including Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC)
Undertake assessments, planning, interventions, and reviews in line with statutory requirements
Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to achieve the best outcomes
Attend court where required and contribute to legal planning and permanency
Maintain accurate, high-quality case recordings and documentation
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with strong experience in statutory children’s social work
Confident working with CIN, CP, and LAC cases
Solid assessment and decision-making skills
Able to work to statutory timescales in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with hybrid working, with office attendance as needed
Contract:
3-month interim post | Hybrid working (office-based for specific tasks or team days)
