An exciting interim opportunity with the London Borough of Lambeth to support delivery of the Customer Experience Strategy 2026–2029 through the Customer Access and Service Transformation (CAST) programme. Reporting to the CAST Programme Director, the interim Project Manager will move the programme from strategy and action planning into controlled delivery. You will maintain the integrated programme plan and key milestones, coordinate governance across the Programme Board and workstreams, prepare highlight reports, dashboards and decision logs, and maintain RAID, dependency, budget and benefits trackers. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting coordination, agenda preparation, minute-taking, action follow-up, stakeholder liaison and documentation control. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrable project management and PMO experience in a complex organisation, with a strong grasp of change control, delivery assurance and escalation processes. Experience supporting transformation, digital, technology or customer service change programmes is essential, along with excellent written reporting and governance skills. Public sector or local government experience is desirable. This is an initial three-month interim engagement based in Brixton, London (SW2), at a rate of £425.00–£576.14 per day via Prism.
