An excellent opportunity for a Personal Assistant to provide confidential, high-quality administrative and practical support to a social worker with a disability within Sefton MBC’s social care team, working 4 days a week (up to 28.8 hours). Duties include email and diary management, preparing case notes, reports and correspondence, minute-taking, maintaining confidential case files in line with safeguarding and GDPR requirements, workload and deadline tracking, and supporting the use of assistive technology and accessible working methods. You will also assist with casework support, including compiling multi-agency records and liaising with colleagues, partner agencies and service users on the social worker’s behalf. The role requires travel across the borough, so a full driving licence and access to your own car are essential, with mileage reimbursed. Enhanced DBS clearance is required. Please note this post is restricted to female applicants only under the Equality Act 2010, as the individual supported is a blind female employee requiring assistance of a gender-sensitive nature. If you are an organised, discreet and adaptable administrator looking to make a real difference supporting a social work professional, we would love to hear from you.
