Sefton MBC is seeking an experienced Personal Advisor to join its Leaving Care service, based at Trinity Road, Bootle (L20 3NJ). This is a temporary role covering sickness and secondment, with an immediate start available. Pay is £17.37-£22.68 per hour via Prism.

You will hold a caseload of care leavers, preparing and reviewing Pathway Plans with a person-centred approach that empowers young people to build independence.

Day-to-day responsibilities include providing practical support around accommodation, finance, education, training, employment, and health; facilitating family contact where appropriate; coordinating services across agency boundaries; and identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns through the line management structure.

You will maintain accurate, timely case records on ICS, attend reviews and case conference meetings, and represent the department at multi-agency forums. Partnership working with statutory, voluntary, community, and faith organisations is central to the role.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. A Criminal Convictions Declaration and Confidentiality Agreement are required at submission stage.
