Barnet Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead the Barnet Domestic Abuse Safety Hub (BDASH), based in Colindale, NW9. This is an interim role paying £25.10–£32.80 per hour via Prism, starting 7 July 2026. BDASH forms part of Barnet’s coordinated response to domestic abuse, delivering trauma‑informed advocacy, safety planning and survivor support across the borough in partnership with statutory and voluntary sector agencies.
As Team Manager, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations and lead a multi‑disciplinary team of IDVAs, DAIOs and a Senior DAIO, ensuring high‑quality, culturally responsive, person‑centred service delivery. Responsibilities include:
- Line management, supervision and staff development
- Performance monitoring against KPIs and contractual outcomes
- Ensuring safeguarding is embedded throughout
- Managing partner relationships including police, health, housing and children’s services
- Representing BDASH at multi‑agency forums including DA MARAC
Candidates must hold a Level 3 regulated qualification in supporting victims of domestic abuse (e.g. SafeLives IDVA or equivalent), with a minimum of three years post‑qualification experience in domestic abuse work. A degree‑level qualification in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology, mental health, counselling) is required, alongside proven leadership experience and sound knowledge of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, safeguarding frameworks, DASH risk assessment, and civil and criminal justice processes.
