Camden Council is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to join the Chief Officer Support team, based at 5 Pancras Square, London (N1C 4AG). This is a temporary role offered via Prism at £20.49–£26.72 per hour, starting 22 June 2026. Working at the heart of Camden’s senior leadership structure, you will provide high-level administrative support to Directors, enabling them to focus on the Council’s strategic priorities. This is a collaborative role requiring close working with other PAs and officers across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, events and travel.
- Handling sensitive correspondence and escalating urgent matters appropriately.
- Preparing agendas, distributing papers and accurately minuting meetings.
- Liaising professionally with Chief Officers, elected members, internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline administrative processes and adopt new technologies.
The ideal candidate will bring substantial PA experience at senior level, ideally within local government or a similarly fast-paced environment. You will be highly organised, discreet, resilient under pressure, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. A meticulous eye for detail and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential. The primary base is 5 Pancras Square, with occasional working from other Camden locations including Camden Town Hall. There are no people management responsibilities.
