An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Assistant Director Repairs & Compliance and the Director of Housing at the London Borough of Haringey, based at Station Road, N22 7TY. This is a temporary role paying £22.79–£29.75 per hour via Prism, starting 27 July 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, proactive diary management and administrative support to ensure the Directors’ time is used effectively.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, secure venues, issue timely invitations and agendas, take minutes, and maintain action logs.
  • Circulate and preview papers, flag open actions, manage apologies for conflicts, and agree attendance priorities with the Directors.
  • Monitor email inboxes for Member and urgent enquiries, track and chase information requests, redirect enquiries as appropriate, and respond to supplier and other unsolicited correspondence.
  • Support staff administration including sickness and annual leave management, recruitment coordination, timesheet approvals, and procurement and invoicing processes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an organised, detail-oriented EA or senior administrator with experience supporting senior leaders in a local authority or similarly complex organisation. Strong minute-taking, diary management, and inbox management skills are essential.
