Overview
Southwark Council is seeking an experienced Application Support Manager/Systems Consultant for an interim project engagement based at the Frensham Street depot, Southwark (SE15 6TH).
The role starts 3 August 2026 and offers pay between £430.70 and £600.01 per day, paid weekly.
Responsibilities
- Ensure applications operate efficiently.
- Manage tickets and support requests promptly.
- Lead upgrades and new application projects.
- Liaise with service managers and senior stakeholders.
- Share knowledge through documentation.
- Provide informal user training.
- Ensure adequate cover across the team.
- Resolve configuration issues and lead the implementation of van stock on Total Mobile Connect.
- Act as the technical authority for Asset Management Applications within the council’s corporate systems portfolio.
Qualifications
- Specialist knowledge of Total Mobile Connect and ideally NEC Housing.
- Detailed technical knowledge of Asset Management systems.
- Confidence working with data and SQL.
- Good understanding of ITIL principles.
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience managing supplier relationships and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
