The day-to-day:
- Support the Registered Manager in all aspects of running a 2-bed children’s home.
- Lead and mentor a small staff team, modelling therapeutic, child-focused practice.
- Keep standards high and Ofsted-ready while working a 37-hour rota, including sleep-ins.
- Champion each child’s safety, voice, and potential.
You must have:
- Current First-Aid, Fire-Safety & Team Teach (or similar).
- Hands-on experience in residential or social-care settings, plus staff-supervision skills.
- A calm, reflective approach and genuine passion for helping young people flourish.
- Enhanced DBS/Update service.
- References required for the last 5 years of employment.
