An experienced Administrative Assistant / Business Support Officer is required to join the busy Single Point of Access Team at Conwy County Borough Council, based at Coed Pella Road, Colwyn Bay.

This is a full-time, on-site role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at a rate of £13.05–£16.88 per hour, expected to run for approximately 12 weeks from 1 September 2026.

The role provides professional administrative and business support to Social Care teams, handling sensitive and confidential information relating to safeguarding and service user data.

Key duties include accurate data entry into the council’s customer database (WCCIS or similar), verifying numerical and text data, and ensuring compliance with Data Protection legislation and internal processes to meet statutory timescales.

Candidates must have a good standard of education, strong literacy skills, proficient typing speed, and a high level of accuracy when inputting and formatting data.

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, and familiarity with WCCIS or a similar client management system is desirable.

Good interpersonal and teamworking skills are required.

The ability to converse in Welsh is desirable but not essential.

This is not a hybrid working position.

Candidates must live locally or within commutable distance of Conwy County.
