Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The vacant post is for a social worker on the Court and Locality Service. The team work with children who are subject to CIN, child protection, pre-proceedings and care proceedings. Candidate will have experience of managing such cases with skills in completing assessments, producing care and safety plans, building relationships with children and their families in order to positively progress timely permanence planning for children.

The candidate will join a team of 6 social workers, two of whom are advanced practitioners, and a team manager. The candidate will receive monthly supervision and have access to training.

The post is mainly office based however home working is agreed in discussion with team manager. This approach is taken to enable healthyteam development, positive peer support and accessibility to management oversight.

There is free car parking available within a few minutes walk of the office.
