The predicted salary is between 16 - 17 £ per hour.

Covering Liverpool, full time, 37.5 hours a week on an ongoing temporary basis—this could last a long time and has no end date. Outreach hours are between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. A quick start is possible for those subscribed to the update service with a short notice period. Pay is £16–£17+ per hour plus mileage covered.

You will meet with Care Leavers aged 16‑18 to check in and ensure they have all the provisions and support ready for when they are 18. If permanent, salary is approximately £27,000 depending on experience and level 3. You will need to drive and have business use on your insurance allowing you to travel to different places of work. Mileage is paid at 55p per mile.

Essential Criteria
  • Experience supporting young people and their families
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential with Business Insurance
  • Completing property inspections
  • Supporting young people to develop independence skills
  • Managing their diary and working closely with permanent staff
  • Completing detailed reports
Qualifications / Requirements
  • High standard of general education
  • Preferable: NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care – Children and young People (CCYP) or equivalent
  • Willingness to undertake further training
  • Experience of working within a similar setting and preferably having completed NVQ3 Children & Young People Workforce or a similar qualification within this sector is essential
Job Purpose

To be responsible for the provision of support for vulnerable people (Service Users) for the Company.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide transport/escort to the young person as directed in line with care plans
  • Conduct welcome and induction for young people
  • Ongoing assessments of Service Users’ needs
  • Provide ongoing support and monitoring of Service Users
  • Assist in welfare and NHS issues
  • Preparation of reports
  • Arrange appointments with various partner agencies
  • Maintain regular contact with Service Users
  • Inform Service Users of support groups
  • Assist Move‑On of Service Users
  • Accurately record, create, maintain and update electronic records in respect of our Service Users
  • Prepare for and attend meetings as required or directed
  • Provide mediation to Service Users as required and/or directed
  • Effectively use IT packages to support the work of the Company
  • Work effectively and cooperatively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Observe and maintain strict confidentiality in respect of the Service Users, Clients and Company
  • Pro‑actively assist in the development of policies and procedures of the Company
  • Report any housing issues to the Services Department and assist, where required, in the resolution of any defects
  • Undertake on‑call duties as directed
  • Participate, where required, in office reception duties
