Cardiff Council is seeking a Recruitment Support Officer to join its Fostering Team on a temporary basis, based at County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff. Paying £14.59–£18.92 per hour via Prism, the role starts 28 September 2026.
This is a public-facing, outreach-focused post supporting all aspects of foster carer recruitment on behalf of Foster Wales Cardiff. You will plan and attend local events, provide clear and engaging information about the different types of fostering available, and follow up with potential applicants to discuss their interest in becoming foster carers.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who enjoys working with people and is comfortable representing the service at public events and promotional activities. Experience in marketing and campaigns is desirable, as outreach and public engagement are central to the role.
