Job Overview
Broxtowe Borough Council is seeking a Tenant Data Collection Officer to join its Housing Division, based at Council Offices, Nottingham (NG9 1AB). This temporary role pays £26.00–£34.00 per hour and starts 20 July 2026.
Reporting
Reporting to the Housing Performance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify gaps in tenant data held across Housing systems.
- Gather, record and maintain accurate tenant information in compliance with data protection regulations including GDPR.
- Maintain up-to-date tenant records covering personal information and tenancy details.
- Produce data gap reports.
- Conduct surveys, interviews and document reviews.
- Visit tenants in their homes in accordance with lone working and risk assessment procedures.
- Create surveys using Microsoft Office and web‑based forms, liaise with colleagues to encourage completion, and ensure proper consent is obtained for all data processing activities.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in housing data, tenancy management or a similar data‑focused administrative role.
- Ability to engage effectively with tenants, internal colleagues and stakeholders.
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (designated car user status).
- Availability to start in July 2026, with occasional evening and weekend working.

Pay: £26.00–£34.00 per hour, paid weekly.
Location: Council Offices, Nottingham (NG9 1AB).
