Southern Housing is seeking a Deputy Accommodation Manager to be based at St Peters Hospital, Chertsey (KT16 0PZ), supporting the delivery of excellent accommodation services to residents in line with contractual obligations with University or NHS partners. This is a temporary day-rate role paying £116.99–£153.85 per day, starting 15 June 2026.
You will support the Accommodation Manager in running the site office efficiently, managing rent arrears, maintaining high occupancy levels, and ensuring compliance with health and safety, regulatory, and legal obligations. Key duties include:
- Assisting with budget preparation
- Managing voids and allocations
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Coordinating repairs with the surveying team
- Contributing to community events and resident satisfaction
You will also support the delivery of Summer Lets, managing departures, group bookings, and local marketing strategies to maximise income and occupancy.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Certificate in Residential Letting and Property Management and have up-to-date knowledge of housing legislation, HMO requirements, and the ANUK framework for student accommodation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MRI, StarRez, and CRM Dynamics is desirable. You will be customer-focused, organised, able to work under pressure, and committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
