Wrexham County Borough Council Adult Social Care is recruiting an Experienced Social Worker for the Adults Single Point of Access (SPOA). This team operates jointly with Early Response and acts as the front door to Adult Social Care, responsible for screening, responding to referrals, determining next steps, signposting, and coordinating Information, Advice, and Assistance. The team values collaboration and a person-centred approach, and seeks a social worker who embodies these principles.
This is a hybrid role based in Crown Buildings, Wrexham. It requires presence in the office 3 days a week, with all necessary technology provided for home working the remaining days. Applicants must be able to respond from home in case of emergencies and when office presence is needed.
Essential Criteria:
- Degree in Social Work
- SWE Registration
- Right to work within the UK
Must Have:
- A professional qualification in social work
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS/Update service
- References covering the last 5 years of employment
