Your position
The Sales Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities across our core markets in Oil & Gas, while exploring opportunities in other areas. The Sales Business Development Manager will work closely with the Senior Leadership team, along with the Engineering and Project teams to deliver, drive and close out on current projects and opportunities. Your place of work will be at our Westhill, Aberdeen office, the hub of our UK operations. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel to our HQ in Esbjerg throughout the year.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities across the Oil and Gas market
- Driving Sales opportunities through to close out while working with key stakeholders across the business
- Drive and develop new opportunities across other areas of our business including Renewables
- Driving business and sales while maintaining strong relationships with our Key clients
- Assisting the preparation of tenders and bids
We are looking for an outgoing and positive professional who is passionate about the energy industry and wants to leave their personal mark on it. You have a proactive and organized approach to your work and are eager to build and maintain strong relationships.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- Deep understanding of the UK Energy landscape
- Preferable experience within the Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems area
- Proven experience navigating UKCS operators, Tier 1 Contractors and the wider supply chain
- Strong grasp of the tendering process
- Ability to interpret market intelligence and translate it into actionable pursuit strategies
- Demonstrated success in identifying, shaping and winning new business in competitive technical markets
- Skilled at building long term relationships with operators, developers, EPCs and strategic partners
