Do you thrive in ever-changing environments and live for the challenge of international work? At Semco Maritime, we're building the future of energy — and we need driven people to help make it happen.

Your position: As our new Service Telecommunication Engineer, you'll join a high-performing team within our Technology Solutions Division, keeping the offshore operations of our global clients running smoothly and safely. Safety isn’t a checkbox at Semco Maritime — it’s a mindset we bring to every project, every platform, every day. In this role, you’ll be a key part of that culture while delivering smart, forward-thinking solutions that make a tangible impact on the global energy transition.

No two weeks look the same. One day you could be offshore in Brazil troubleshooting critical telecom systems for a client; the next, back at our Esbjerg HQ, preparing for your upcoming service or commissioning job or contributing to tenders and shaping the next project. This is telecommunication service engineering at its most dynamic. Your base will be either our Global HQ in Esbjerg or our Grimsby, UK location. The role is full-time, with 100+ travel days per year.

“Joining the Service Team in Technology Solutions is for the individual that seeks more than just becoming a part of the offshore telecommunication business. It is for the individual that thrives in a team where we excel as a unit through collaboration, dedication and continuous knowledge sharing. It is for the individual that wants to travel the world, is solution driven and sees possibilities where others do not. It is not for everyone but if you read this job ad and believe that it is you - you will not be disappointed” - Søren Storm Madsen, Service Director.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Installation and preventive maintenance of telecom equipment including PAGA, Tetra, VHF, CCTV, 4G/5G, ACS and network systems.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues — remote or onsite - fast and effectively.
  • Overseeing projects both onshore and offshore.
  • Participating in our on-call support for clients with Service Level Agreements.
  • Contributing to commissioning and engineering for Brownfield projects.

Your Profile & Qualifications:

  • A technical background - a degree in Applied Industrial Electronics, Engineering, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience in the offshore industry, including creating work packages, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • A genuine appetite for being where the work is - travelling to wherever our clients operate.
