Senior Project Engineer

PBS (Semco UK) are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the team in Westhill on a full time, contract or permanent basis.

Details/duties:

1. Lead the development and execution of detailed project plans and engineering solutions.
2. Oversee and coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines.
3. Ensure projects meet technical specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
4. Interface with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to communicate project objectives and progress.
5. Monitor project timelines and ensure alignment with schedules and budgets.
6. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
7. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential project issues.
8. Facilitate design reviews, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical requirements.
9. Ensure accurate documentation of engineering activities, including as-built drawings and technical reports.
10. Support continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in engineering processes.
11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
12. Support a positive workplace culture by collaborating and working with others, sharing knowledge and providing feedback.
13. Understand and demonstrate the core values of the business through actions and behaviours.
14. Look for ways to improve own and operational performance.
15. Understand and comply with all relevant standards and regulations including HSEQ and GDPR, and hold those that do not comply with these standards to account.

Qualifications/Experience required:

1. Essential: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
2. Desirable: Chartered Engineer status or relevant certifications.
3. Previous experience in a similar position.
4. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, safety standards, and regulatory frameworks.
5. Proficient in project management tools and engineering design software.
6. Experience with multi-disciplinary project coordination and execution.
