Your position

In your new position as Project Manager – Main Component Exchanges (MCE) in our Renewable Service organisation, you will lead the planning and execution of large-component exchange projects for offshore wind farms. You will work across engineering, marine operations, HSEQ, SCM, site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant and efficient delivery for our customers. The position is full-time, and travel is expected depending on project needs, including offshore activities and regular interaction with stakeholders. The projects are typically long-term service contracts for our clients in Northern and Central Europe.

As a Project Manager – Main Component Exchanges, you will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery with full focus on safety, quality, schedule and cost.

Your Tasks Will Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Leading MCE projects from handover and planning through execution and close-out
  • Building and maintaining integrated project plans (scope, milestones, resources, logistics, marine/weather windows)
  • Coordinating interfaces across internal teams, customers and subcontractors and ensuring clear governance and communication
  • Presenting projects to the steering committee with structure, coherence, and transparency
  • Managing project risk, change and decision-making to secure predictable delivery
  • Ensuring robust project documentation, reporting, cost tracking and lessons learned
  • Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities
  • Working effectively across a matrix organisation to align deliverables

Your Profile & Qualifications

We are looking for a structured, accountable and safety-driven project manager who can lead complex offshore deliveries and communicate clearly across stakeholders. To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, commerce, project management
  • Proven and demonstrable experience planning and executing complex offshore wind projects in Northern and Central Europe with multiple interfaces and subcontractors
  • Sound, practical knowledge of UK regulatory and safety frameworks, including CDM 2015 and Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR)
  • An understanding of quality systems, including structured management of project documentation (file naming, version control, folder structures, storage locations, and compliant access rights)
  • An understanding of vessel mobilisation, POB planning, and offshore logistics
  • Strong planning and coordination skills; tool proficiency (MS Office; ideally MS Project and SharePoint)
  • A good balance between professionalism and assertiveness to resolve issues effectively
  • Fluency in English (German is an advantage for the local setup)
  • A strong HSEQ mindset and the ability to drive safe execution in offshore environments
