Purpose & Scope
We are seeking a commercially astute and strategic candidate to lead the key account management activities of long‑term strategic contracts in relation to the supply of thermal, renewable and low‑carbon energy for a diverse portfolio of customers, including those in data centres, semiconductor and manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and government sectors. This role is expected to cultivate strong relationships with customers to drive commercial growth, lead complex deal origination and negotiations, and manage senior internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership presence, sound commercial judgement, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Singapore’s electricity market and broader energy transition landscape.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with key long‑term and strategic customers and internal teams to operationalise commercial agreements for power supply.
- Strengthen relationships with strategic customers to originate new business opportunities, which may involve commercial negotiation and deal structuring to incorporate amendments to existing contractual arrangements or to execute new agreements.
- Develop acute understanding of key customer contracts to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Acquire and develop subject matter expertise in key customers’ industry segments, their value chain and market outlook to derive understanding of the key customers’ energy consumption trends.
- Regular management reporting and updates on key customers.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Business, Engineering or Economics.
- At least 5 years of key account management or corporate sales experience.
- Relevant experience in the power or energy industry would be preferred.
- Experience in the semiconductor or data centre industry would be viewed favourably.
