  • Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • 1. Operationalisation of the LNG Bunkering Business
  • Lead the operationalisation of the LNG bunkering business, including governance, operating model, business processes and performance framework.
  • Operationalise the commercial, operational and financial arrangements required to support the launch and growth of the business.

• Lead the operationalisation of key agreements, including

  • Joint venture agreements
  • LNG supply agreements
  • Terminal use, storage and reload agreements
  • Vessel charter and operational agreements
  • Establish governance, reporting, approval and processes of Sembcorp’s bunkering business
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams to ensure business readiness, operational start-up and successful execution.
  • 2. Drive Commercial Growth and Customer Development
  • Develop and execute the LNG bunkering commercial strategy to grow sales and profitability.
  • Lead customer acquisition, contract negotiations and account management.
  • Develop competitive LNG pricing and commercial solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market growth initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
  • 3. Oversee End-to-End LNG Bunkering Operations
  • Manage LNG procurement, supply planning, inventory and customer deliveries.
  • Optimise supply, logistics and delivery arrangements to ensure reliable and cost-effective operations.
  • Support pricing, hedging and risk management activities.
  • Ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations and timely execution of transactions.
  • Resolve commercial and operational issues with customers, suppliers and service providers.
  • 4. Stakeholder Management, Governance and Compliance
  • Work closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Tax and HSE teams.
  • Manage relationships with customers, suppliers, terminal operators, regulators and business partners.
  • Prepare business performance reports, management updates and market insights.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and HSE requirements.
  • Support risk management, incident response and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Maritime Studies or a related discipline.
  • 8-10 years of experience in LNG, gas, marine fuels, bunkering, shipping or related industries.
  • Experience in business development, commercial negotiations and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of the LNG value chain, including supply, logistics, terminals, storage or marine fuels.
  • Strong commercial, project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
