Role Purpose
Responsible for mechanical engineering planning, design coordination, and construction management for land infrastructure, industrial developments, and critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Planning: Support Project Manager/Lead on mechanical system planning and design concepts, including DC mechanical systems (cooling, redundancy, resilience). Lead/support MEP investigations, feasibility studies, and consultant design reviews to ensure compliance, constructability, and cost optimization.
- Construction & Delivery: Oversee mechanical works through construction, testing, and commissioning to meet specifications, codes, quality, budget, and timeline. Conduct site inspections, resolve MEP technical issues, and support authority submissions and final handover.
- Project & Stakeholder Management: Support tendering activities including contractor pre‑qualification and technical evaluations. Liaise with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders. Support technical due diligence for industrial assets and critical facilities, and continuous improvement of standards/SOPs.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 8–10 years’ experience in M&E design and construction for industrial/building projects.
- Proven exposure to data center or mission‑critical facilities, particularly in mechanical systems design, construction, and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, fire protection, plumbing, wastewater, and lift systems.
- Familiar with Vietnam codes and regulations; Southeast Asia experience is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and planning tools; good command of English.
- Able to manage multiple projects and travel as required.
