Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support Lead Project Manager in project management for industrial park and industrial asset developments in the South‑east Asian Region to ensure works are completed within budget, on schedule and of good quality.
- Manage the tender process, along with the Procurement Management Team, from pre‑qualification of contractors and consultants, preparation of technical tender documents, to tender clarifications and evaluation.
- Support the Engineering Lead in reviewing consultant designs, drawings and specifications so as to achieve optimum design and cost.
- Conduct technical investigations for new Industrial parks including preliminary infrastructure concept, assessment of development constraints and issues.
- Liaise with various stakeholders including internal Management, project director, consultants, and contractors for matters that arise throughout the development process.
- Propose recommendations and implement solutions for all civil and structural (C&S) related matters.
- Assist to maintain good records of technical documents for internal audit from time to time.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent with a minimum 7‑8 years of relevant working experience in Civil & Structural design and project management works.
- Familiar with design, Code of Practices, Building and Fire Safety Regulations and Green Building & Sustainability Design e.g. EDGE, LEED.
- Prior experience in a consultancy firm and/or design experience in industrial parks and industrial building assets preferred; experience in projects in the South‑east Asian Region is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills is required to manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess strong problem‑solving skills and able to work well independently and in teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and other Project Management or Quality Management systems.
- Willing to travel when business need arises.
