Semarchy
Description
Semarchy has grown into an industry leader in the data management space. We're searching for a Product Manager to help expand the Semarchy Data Platform (SDP) and support our development teams. As a Product Manager, you are one of our core creative talents. Reporting to the Head of Product Management and working closely with engineering, design, and the field, you will turn customer problems and market evidence into product capabilities that customers value β€” and pay for. Your goal will be to increase the adoption and market fit of the Semarchy Data Platform.
You will own your product scope end-to-end: discovering what customers actually need, framing the problems worth solving, prioritizing ruthlessly, shaping the roadmap, and partnering across teams to bring capabilities to market successfully.
Your early focus is likely to involve Semarchy's AI-oriented capabilities β€” such as agentic access to governed Data Products and AI-assisted stewardship β€” so experience or genuine enthusiasm in this area is a real advantage. As with any growing product organization, scope and responsibilities will be shaped together and are expected to evolve over time. We are therefore looking for someone adaptable and curious, who thrives when the problem space is still taking shape.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a product manager or product owner in the B2B, SaaS, or technology space, with a solid portfolio.
  • Demonstrated strength in customer discovery and research β€” you have talked to many customers and turned what you heard into product decisions.
  • A clear bias toward value and outcomes β€” comfortable challenging requests and reframing them around the underlying problem.
  • Strong prioritization and roadmapping discipline, with the ability to communicate decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid experience in product ownership, including backlog management, requirements gathering, and specification production.
  • Technical ability to interact with expert developers on topics such as software architecture, databases, APIs, and user interfaces.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand market topics and technical concepts.
  • Working knowledge of modern AI architectures and integration patterns (e.g., LLMs, RAG, MCP, vector databases, agents, and AI APIs), with the ability to translate emerging capabilities into enterprise product strategy and requirements.
  • Comfort operating with evolving scope and ambiguity β€” you thrive when the problem space is still taking shape.
  • Fluent in English and French; communication skills to collaborate, present, and evangelize the Semarchy vision and products.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while remaining flexible and consistently hitting deadlines.

Strong Plus
  • Experience or strong interest in enriching B2B products with AI / GenAI capabilities and integrating with AI ecosystems.
  • Experience or knowledge of data technologies (structured and unstructured), enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, etc.), and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker).
  • Previous experience with data governance, catalog, integration, and/or MDM products and solutions.
  • Familiarity with commercialization / go-to-market processes and field enablement.
