Selwyn Kids is looking for a teacher in training to join our team in the discovery room. This is a fixed-term position for approximately 12 months, covering maternity leave, and would suit someone currently studying towards their ECE qualification.
We are a small, locally owned early childhood service offering Kindergarten. The Discovery room is for our children aged 2 - 3 years old. Kindergarten is open from 8:30-3, with Homebased and OSCAR programmes. We focus on creating a welcoming, supportive environment for tamariki, whānau, and staff, with a strong sense of community across our services.

You will work alongside an experienced team, supporting children’s learning and development through play, routines, and meaningful interactions. This is a great opportunity to build confidence and grow your teaching practice in a supportive setting.
