This role involves leading the day-to-day property operation within your designated region, overseeing compliance and maintenance activities, and managing property upgrade projects. You will coordinate with various teams to ensure safe delivery of site activities, audits, and inspections.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote a positive safety culture in line with our Think Safe, Work Safe, Home Safe behaviours.
  • Manage leases, rent reviews, payments, and rates.
  • Oversee contractors and supply partners, ensuring safe and compliant work delivery.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for property-related enquiries.
  • Support development of local operating procedures and planned preventative maintenance workflows.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external contractors and supply partners.
  • Maintain up-to-date property asset information and conduct regular inspections.
  • Lead internal and external property-related audits.
  • Manage property budgets and ensure adherence to financial processes.
  • Provide accurate compliance and performance reporting.
  • Contribute to business risk identification and mitigation.
  • Develop and test site emergency procedures.
  • Contribute to asset maintenance strategies and undertake assigned projects.
  • Evaluate and manage direct report performance.
  • Monitor industry changes and respond to legislative developments.
  • Support environmental and sustainability activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current IWFM membership (at member grade or higher).
  • NEBOSH qualification (General Certificate) preferred.
  • Experience in property/facilities/building management.
  • Technical understanding of mechanical/electrical/fabric systems.
  • Financial experience in budget oversight.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Team leadership and development abilities.
  • Experience with computer-aided facilities management (CAFM) systems.
  • Proven commitment-based management experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
