We are looking for an experienced Installation Supervisor to take charge of pump and pipework installations at client sites. As the senior member of a two-person team, you will lead and work alongside our Installation Operative to ensure every project is delivered safely and to the highest quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring RAMS are briefed and adhered to by your team.
- Checking that the quality of equipment is fit for purpose before installation begins.
- Managing health and safety on construction sites, ensuring your own safety and the safety of others.
- Supervising all aspects of the solution/sales project from conception to completion.
- Liaising with the Installation Manager regarding installation progress and potential issues.
- Carrying out on-site RAMS processes and ensuring all risks have been identified and controlled.
- Installing pipework and supervising the workload of Installation Operatives and sub-contractors.
- Assisting drivers with loading and unloading vehicles.
This role requires a good level of fitness due to its physical demands and is subject to a safety critical medical.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Confidence working at height, in confined spaces, and around sewage/wastewater.
- Aptitude to work on client sites, including construction, wastewater, and clean water.
- Flexibility with working hours and availability for the 'on call' rota.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Site Supervision.
- SSSTS - Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme.
- Full UK driving license (with no more than 6 points).
Preferred:
- IOSH Managing Safety.
- Forklift licence.
- CSCS card holder.
- National Water Hygiene Card.
