We are looking for a Pump Solutions Manager in our Leeds branch to meet the ever-increasing needs of our expanding business. This role will provide support to the Pump Rental Solutions Business Unit, ensuring a uniformed approach to solutions projects across our business network. You will play a key role in ensuring our broader company strategic objectives are met, both as they exist now and as we develop for the future. You will need to deliver senior support, using your knowledge and experience to train and coach other strategic teams and individuals within our Pump Rental Solutions business, whilst also developing our customer experience and ensuring they remain the central focus of our business strategy. The primary areas of focus for this role will include Leeds and Hull.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrable experience of technical project management, with the ability to think through ideas/solutions at a fast pace, organise resources, and liaise with internal and external departments to implement corrective actions.
- Understand the design and workings of temporary and permanent pumping solutions.
- Work under own initiative to understand instructions, interpret information and quickly find the right solution.
- Explain solutions to clients and staff, clearly defining what is required by whom, and why.
- Demonstrate the ability to gain buy-in for ideas/solutions and communicate them so clients are supportive of our approach.
- Show an aptitude for learning, with a commitment to expanding knowledge through asking questions and seeking innovative approaches.
- Be adaptable with a flexible approach and be willing to attend sites upon request.
- Have a background in pump hire, utilities or a water-related industry as an advantage, but not essential.
- Experience in construction, engineering, mechanical or electrical fields is advantageous, but not essential.
- Hold a full UK driving licence as attendance at client sites will be required.
