We are growing our Installations Team to meet the increasing needs of our expanding business. We are seeking an Installation Supervisor to supervise and support our installations team and customers. If you are an experienced supervisor within the construction industry looking for a career in a reputable business with opportunities for progression, this role is for you!
Based out of our Conwy branch, this role will mainly be on customer sites, with occasional visits to the branch and other UK locations. As an Installation Supervisor, you will lead by example, overseeing all workers on site, including third parties employed by Selwood. A positive attitude, flexibility, and integrity are essential.
Responsibilities include ensuring RAMS are briefed and followed, checking equipment quality before installation, and maintaining safety standards at all times. You will work on construction sites, managing safety and stopping unsafe acts. Flexibility is required as you will support a call-out rota and work overtime for increased rates.
This role requires a safety-critical medical assessment.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Promote the company\’s mission and values across the UK network.
- Supervise all aspects of solution/sales projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with the Installation Manager on project progress and issues.
- Conduct on-site RAMS processes, identify risks, and communicate safety measures.
- Install pipework and supervise operatives and subcontractors on site.
- Assist drivers with vehicle loading/unloading; physical fitness is required.
- Work at heights, in confined spaces, lone working, and with sewage is expected.
Essential qualifications include a full UK driving license with less than 6 points. Preferred qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Site Supervision, SSSTS, IOSH Managing Safety, forklift license, CSCS gold card, and Water Hygiene Card. Experience in hire or water industries is advantageous.
