Responsibilities
- Deliver works to a high standard in accordance with your training, experience and industry best practice.
- Ensure all electrical works are carried out using best practice and fully compliant with BS7671 and building regulations.
- Carry out 1st fix / 2nd fix and final works including chasing out and preparations.
- Follow work instructions efficiently and carry out works required as detailed in the instruction.
- Assist the Contract manager / supervisors to ensure the working environment is safe and compliant with Health & Safety policies and legislation.
- Be available for the out-of-hours rota when required.
- Carry out work in accordance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3).
- Experience diagnosing faults in electrical appliances and systems.
- Skilled in installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic fixtures and systems.
- Awareness of legal regulations and safety requirements.
- Strong commitment to health and safety and delivering high standards.
- Desire to learn, develop, and contribute to team improvement.
Successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Additionally, a full and valid UK driving licence is essential for this role. PPE required for this role. Certain tasks may require tight‑fitting respirators for safety reasons. To ensure an effective seal, operatives must be clean‑shaven where the mask contacts the face. We will explore alternative PPE solutions and reasonable adjustments for those who cannot shave for religious or medical reasons.
