We’re looking for a skilled, customer focused Plasterer to join our Responsive Repairs team, delivering high quality repairs and maintenance across our housing stock.

About the Role

You’ll deliver plastering repairs and maintenance across both occupied and void properties, ensuring homes are left safe, clean and finished to a high standard. Working independently and as part of a supportive, customer focused team, you’ll also support wider responsive maintenance activities, including some general building tasks and fencing repairs where required, contributing to an efficient and reliable repairs service.

Responsibilities

  • Follow agreed targets and objectives with regards to the role.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of the customer by having a fixed first-time approach to all jobs.
  • Carry out work as per the Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Assist the Line Manager/Supervisors to ensure the working environment is compliant with all Health & Safety policies and legislation.

You’ll bring

  • City & Guilds/ NVQ level 2 in plastering or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Basic carpentry, architrave, skirting, door linings.
  • Basic Painting & decorating, whitewash, walls, ceilings, woodwork.
  • Experience of working in social housing or domestic properties.
  • Experience working in occupied homes.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic DBS check and a Right to Work check.

Working hours

You will be required to be on site and ready to start at 08:00, working through to 17:00 with a one hour unpaid lunch break.
