We're looking for an experienced M&E manager to drive performance, inspire teams and deliver safe, compliant services that our customers can rely on. As our Contracts Manager (M&E), you'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio spanning gas, electrical, renewables, heating, plumbing and wider building services. You'll lead supervisors and operational teams, drive performance, ensure compliance and champion a culture where safety, quality and customer service are never compromised.

About the role: As Contracts Manager (M&E), you'll lead the delivery of essential compliance and building services, ensuring our homes remain safe, compliant and well maintained. Leading supervisors, operational teams and contractors across gas, electrical and renewable services, you'll drive performance, champion continuous improvement and deliver excellent outcomes for our customers.

You’ll bring:

  • Level 5 or above qualification in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction or Compliance, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Leadership qualification (CMI, ILM or equivalent) at Level 3 or above, or a commitment to work towards one.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate operational teams to deliver outstanding performance and customer outcomes.
  • Experience in a contracts management role within mechanical, electrical, building services, property maintenance or compliance related services.
  • Experience of procuring, mobilising and managing M&E contracts, supplier arrangements and materials frameworks.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of managing internal teams, contractors and suppliers in an M&E building services environment.
  • Understanding of key KPI drivers for M&E compliance, servicing, repairs, planned works, contractor performance, internal delivery teams and customer outcomes.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive environment where colleagues and customers are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.
