Behind every compliant home is someone who takes the details seriously. We're looking for someone who sees beyond the paperwork, recognises the risks others might miss, and has the expertise and determination to ensure our homes remain safe, compliant and fit for the future.

As our Compliance Project Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering and overseeing compliance programmes across our housing stock. You'll work closely with contractors, consultants and colleagues to ensure high standards are maintained and that statutory obligations are met. More importantly, you'll help us continuously improve, identifying risks, driving solutions and making a tangible difference to the homes and communities we serve. This is an opportunity to use your expertise to influence standards, drive improvement and make a genuine impact on the safety of over 7,000 homes.

What We're Looking For

  • Customer Driven: You keep customers at the heart of your decision-making, ensuring safety, quality and customer experience are central to the programmes and projects you deliver.
  • Accountability: You take ownership of compliance programmes from planning through to completion, managing contractors, budgets, risks and performance to ensure services are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
  • Develop & Learn: You keep up to date with legislation, regulatory requirements and industry best practice across key compliance areas, including fire safety, asbestos, gas, electrical and water safety. You actively seek opportunities to improve processes, strengthen compliance performance and share your expertise with others.
  • Champion Communication: You build strong relationships with colleagues, contractors, consultants and customers. Whether presenting technical information, producing reports, leading meetings or providing specialist advice, you communicate with clarity, credibility and confidence.

You’ll Bring Level 3:

  • A degree, HND or extensive relevant experience in Construction, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience of compliance management within a social housing environment, including managing compliance contracts and projects through to successful completion.
  • Proven experience of budget management, contractor performance management, procurement and delivering projects from inception through to completion.
  • Strong technical expertise in compliance management, with the ability to influence stakeholders, contribute to service improvements, support the development of policies and procedures, and coach or support less experienced colleagues.
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel across our operating area.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive environment where colleagues and customers are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.

The successful candidate will be required to complete Right to Work, DVLA and DBS checks. The role requires the use of ladders and appropriate access equipment to work at height and in confined spaces.
