An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Chester.
This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced litigators on a broad range of complex and high-quality disputes, making it ideal for someone looking to further develop their career in litigation.
The Role
Working as part of a busy and supportive Dispute Resolution team, you'll provide assistance on a varied caseload while delivering a high standard of client service.
Responsibilities include
- Assisting fee earners with a range of litigation matters from inception through to conclusion.
- Preparing court documents, witness bundles and legal correspondence.
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts and third parties.
- Managing diaries, deadlines and case progression.
- Attending client meetings, mediations and court hearings where required.
- Supporting file management and ensuring compliance with court procedures and internal processes.
- Handling client enquiries and maintaining regular communication throughout matters.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have
- A minimum of one year's experience within a litigation or dispute resolution team.
- Experience assisting with civil or commercial litigation matters.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, client-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using legal case management systems is advantageous.
